Thrive Conference

Following the success of our inaugural Thrive Hull Conference last year, the city’s partnership for children and young people’s emotional well being and mental health are pleased to announce the date for our second conference 2023 for front line professionals working in services across health, care, education, and the voluntary community sector that support our young people.

Our focus this year is the emerging needs of children and young people and ways professionals can support them through the Thrive Hull framework of services;

Topics include;

• Thrive Hull priorities and the needs of children and young people and their health inequalities in Hull

• A Trauma Informed lens supporting our children and young people and their families

• How services can work together to support school attendance, through promoting resilience, attendance and attainment

• How professionals and services support young people in the LGBTQ+ community

• Talking to a young person about self harm and how to respond

At the conference there will be:

• Information stands of services that support children and young peoples emotional well being and mental health

• Networking opportunities with professionals across health, care, VCSE and education.
